Windows 10: Phone Link - Messages vanish

Using Phone Link I compose a text message to three contacts. I have texted them before and Phone Link does not show that history, but it has been a while so perhaps that's normal. I send my message and get two replies in about 10 minutes. Then I notice the message history in Phone link now shows the older message history with these contacts, it shows their replies to my message today, but is missing the message I just sent. I look at my phone and it is gone from there as well.This seems to happen a lot with Messages on Phone Link. About every 6 months I turn the feature back on to try it, it d

Phone Link app missing text messages

In Phone Link make sure your phone shows Connected. If it is Offline, click on

to try to resync the phone with Phone Link.

 

Phone Link and messages

I installed Phone Link on my new Windows 11 computer yesterday. Phone Link and my iPhone are connected but I don't receive messages in Phone Link, although I can send them. I've had messages sent to me from both android and iPhones but that doesn't make any difference. Any suggestions?
