Windows 10: Phone Link not showing Contact Names....again

Displays mix of number and contact names. Used to display Names only. It's free, so I guess I get what I pay for?

Contact names in contact list

I have a list of contacts in my outlook.live account that are listed in numerical order by office number, e.g. “101 Larry” “Smith” is the first and last name for Larry Smith in office 101. This method has always resulted in a perfectly numerically ordered contact list, until recently. Now, when I add Larry to my contact list, Outlook only shows Larry’s email address, no name, no office number.

Any help / suggestions would be so greatly appreciated. I’ve tried using customer support before, not looking forward to that ordeal again.

 

"Your Phone" contacts

When I use the phone app on My PC and enter the first letter of the contact I wish to send a message too
It will show the name list of the contacts I wish to send it too - the names from my mobile phone contact list
And then select the name to send message too

 

Skype contact name is showing when am getting call instead of phone contact name...

The filter contact list only works if you only have a contact that is Skype and isn't linked to any other account, if you open the contact that is showing the Skype name then press the edit button. (This will be different for 8.0, as my phone is running
8.1 I cannot tell you the exact path) I remember that by pressing the name it allows you to decide the name by selecting one from another linked account.
