Windows 10: Phone Link screen on Windows is dimmed and has low brightness that cannot be adjusted

I'm running Phone Link on my Win11 laptop to my Samsung Galaxy S24U this problem has existed across all of my older phones. When I view the phone's screen on Windows, the brightness is really low/dimmed significantly such that it's hard to see what's being displayed. It does not matter what app may/may not be running, EVERYTHING is dimmed. I've scoured the settings and this forum to no avail. Any ideas? Is this expected behavior?? I've attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about disregard the blur I added to hide my wallpaper.Any help is appreciated!TIA,M

Lumia 925 automatic screen brightness dims too low

My 920 and 1020 behaves in the exact same way as your 925, i.e when the screen is set to automatic brightness the screen dims to a level that is lower than the low brightness setting when I'm in a dimly lit or dark environment. I would therefore suggest
that it is a software issue with Windows Phone and could do with rectifying via an update.

I've learned to live with it though and just set my screens brightness to low during the evening and set it to automatic during the day.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

If however you are not able to change the brightness, I suggest you update your display drivers and check if it helps:

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

• • Right click on start button and click on Device manager.
    
  • Select Display adapter and expand it.
  • Right click on the device and select Update driver.
