Windows 10: Phone Link sound on PC is clicky and no one can hear me

Hi there! Whenever I make a call with Phone Link Link to Windows the audio is clicky, barely audible, and no one can hear me. It is not a hardware issue as this does not come up in any other form of computer communication Zoom, Discord, Battle.net, Google Voice, etc.. This is a super convenient app but as far as calls go it is completely useless for me. Thank you for your time.

Phone Link sound to Phone's headset

I just went step by step. All connected and working. The only thing I do not have - other speaker/mic devices except default (computer internal) in the section Output. So I can hear sound from phone to computer but I do not hear sound in my bluetooth headset connected to the phone ;(

 

Phone Link auto start when PC boots

I'm trying to get Phone Link to auto start when my PC boots up. I want to hear a notification sound and message when I receive a text message on my Android phone.

I usually find the shortcut and put it in my Macro Express startup. I understand that the app does startup in the background, but I don't hear any notifications and the Phone Link window is not open. I'd like to have the Phone Link window open at startup and can't find the shortcut

As per the description I understand that you are unable to hear the email notification sound.

I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

  Go to Control Panel Items
  
• 
  Click on Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Sounds Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Desktop Mail Notification.
  
• 
  Click TEST.
  
• 
  Click OK.
  

And check if you are able to hear the email notification sound.
