Windows 10: Phone link use phones headset for calls instead of computer speakers?

The ability to make calls from my computer is great and all since the phone numbers are on my computer. but it defeats the entire purpose if the calls are done over the speakers instead of using my phones head set. I need a way to either use a bluetooth headset on my PC to make the calls or to use the headset that is paired to my phone. I can manually swap the call to my bluetooth headset but that is rather annoying to do every single time

Thanks for the quick reply. Indeed I have the firmware version v200.21.118 and I have seen the Mute option when a call comes up. I immediately tested your suggestion, but it turnes out, it is not what I was looking for, for multiple reasons:

• When pressed, the sound is muted in both the phone speaker as well as in the headset.
• You need to perform an action before every call to enable the function, which is annoying.
• There is still sound coming from the phone speaker.

Maybe I haven't specified my question properly, so to be as clear as possible: is there a way to have all the sound my phone makes (key strokes, ringtones, music) be played through the speakers of the headset
and at the same time have the phone speaker muted?

Samsung Galaxy S10: Android 10 / OneUI 2.1

It worked fine using my Surface Pro 4 but on my new Surface Pro X the Ringtone and Call Quality through the Your Phone app are terrible: Constant crackling, tapping whatever you want to call it. Kind of like coins being dropped.

All other aspects of Your Phone work wonderfully.

I've tried:

Phone:

1. Bluetooth: Unpairing the Surface Pro X
2. Your Phone Companion App: Clearing Application Data/Cache

Surface Pro X:

1. Settings -> Bluetooth: Unpairing the phone
2. Settings -> Phone: Unlinking the phone
3. Settings -> Apps: Your Phone App: Repair and Reset

I then set it all up again which went through all fine.

I've also tried:

1. Device Manager -> All Bluetooth Drivers -> Update Driver
2. Paired a Bluetooth speaker to my Surface Pro X. This works fine.

I suspect the issue is related to the Your Phone App and Bluetooth but don't know where to check next?

Because the crackling noise seems to be bluetooth related.

I am having issues with the phone link to PC. I have my bluetooth headset, phone linked to the PC during my calls, it switches from the speaker on the laptop to the bluetooth headset and back to the phone speaker.

How can I prevent the switching of the sound from all three devices? Bluetooth headset, speaker on the laptop and speaker on the phone.
