Windows 10: phone link user

I am a user of phone link, i really like it, but one thing i don't like is the fact that my phone needs to be unlocked when i want to mirror my screen to my pc. Is there an option that i can use phone link without the need to unlock my phone? For example when i'm home

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

 

Can't "Link to Wndows"

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code. Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab
