Windows 10: Phone plugged in to USB C disconnects from windows after a few seconds

When plugging my Samsung device into my laptop via USB type C, It connects but the connection tone makes a strange buzzing noise. Then after a few seconds it makes the disconnect sound and my phone disconnects from Windows and won't reconnect.When plugging it in through USB A, there has been a couple times when it has randomly disconnected but for the most part works fine.I'm using the data cable that came with my phone.I've checked ports and cables, it doesn't appear to be any loose connection issue.Phone is in transfer mode.I'm pretty sure all my drivers and chipsets are up to date so I'm at

Keyboard keeps disconnecting from USB C hub

• I am using a USB C hub to connect my HP laptop to home peripherals: 2 monitors, keyboard & mouse with USB bluetooth receivers, and Ethernet cable.
  
  When I plug the keyboard's receiver into the hub, it keeps disconnecting without making any Windows sound alert, when that happens, the mouse and internet cable also disconnect, and the keyboard starts to stutter (it does not type anything or repeats the same letter many times). This persists for a few seconds, then it connects again only to disconnect again a few minutes later.
  
  When I plug the receiver into the laptop itself the issue seems to disappear.
  
  I have tested 2 keyboards and two different hubs, same story.
  
  My drivers are up to date. I unchecked "Allow this computer to disconnect device to save power" option.
  
  I am pretty sure the problem is in Windows.
  
  I have seen many other people complaining from a similar problem on the internet and no one seems to have solved it.

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

 

USB keyboard disconnects when holding any button down

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

• The USB connection may be loose. Try unplugging the keyboard, and then plugging it back in.
• Plug the keyboard into a different USB port.
• If your keyboard is plugged into a USB hub or USB switch box, try removing it and plugging the keyboard into the computer.
• Unplug other USB devices that are not in use.
• Try the keyboard on another computer to verify it is working correctly

Method 2: Also I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the usb keyboard drivers as below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows+X and go to device manager.
• Then expand keyboards and right click on the driver.
• Then click on uninstall and restart the computer.
• It will be reinstalled automatically and check if it helps.
