Windows 10: phone stuck at loading screen after scanning QR code for link to windows

I am trying to link my android phone to my PC with the Phone Link app in windows 11. However after I scan the QR code on my phone it just hangs there with the circle thing over and over and goes nowhere. How can I fix this??

Link to Windows fails to generate QR code

I have never had a problem using Phone Link with My Samsung S21 when connecting to any of my desktop computers using a wired network connection or my laptops using a wireless connection. Note if there is a problem I just remove the respective devices on both ends and tried again.

BTW, I am using my ASUS laptop with Phone Link but it is not a registered device for my Microsoft account.

ON PC

1. Click Get Started





2. Click Sign In





3. Click Pair with QR code. QR code is shown on PC screen.

1. Start Link to Windows





2. Select Add computer





3. Select Continue. Point phone at QR code on computer screen to scan code. When done setup is complete.

 

QR Code Scan

Hey I was told that a QR Code could be scanned directly from your mobile phone web page.

How is that process done when the QR code scanner is in the same phone of witch the QR code is needed

to be scanned?

 

Struck at QR Code loading page in Phone Link App !

I connected to my Mobile Hotspot . Still struck at QR Code loading screen.
