    Phone sync issue after going to Windows 11


    I just upgraded to Windows 11. Earlier, my Outlook calendar app in my Android phone was synching correctly with Outlook on the laptop, using the Sync Now command. But now, after Windows 11, the sync is not working. Can you help with this? Thanks.

    If the issue still persists I suggest you to check if you have new software available for your phone do the following:

    Lumia with Windows 10:

    • Go to Settings > Update & security >
      Phone update
      and tap Check for updates.

    Yet Another Windows Phone Contact Sync Issue.

    Hello SamyG:



    Thank you for posting to the forum regarding your contacts. It sounds like you have already done some extensive troubleshooting for this issue to no avail. I have just a couple additional troubleshooting steps to suggest before this may come down to recreating
    the contacts from scratch to ensure you have the contact on the phone as you want it.



    The first thing I would suggest you look at in your contact list is how and where the phone number is listed. The phone does not have all the fields that are available via the web portal, specifically a mobile 2 number. If you have a number associated
    with a contact that is in a field that does not exist on the phone, that number will simply not sync to the phone.



    I would like to clarify the process of creating a group that can sometimes correct this issue. I want to be sure that you created this group via the website and then synced your account on the phone. This should lead to the group being added to the phone.
    You can then check the contacts in that group and disband the group on the phone if the correct information was synced to the phone.



    Next, I would like to focus on the linked contacts. If some of the linked accounts are not pushing through to the phone this could explain the missing numbers. If the number that is missing is coming from that linked account that information would fail
    to sync to the phone. Things to do to try and correct this are, try unlinking and relinking the various contacts/accounts in the web portal, try adding the accounts that are linked directly to the phone, go to these linked accounts and check for privacy/sharing
    settings. If you continue to have issues with this please provide some details regarding accounts you see linked on the web portal but that do not show on the phone as being associated with that contact. Also describe if it is the same account across contacts
    or if the missing linked account shows for one account but not another.



    Finally, I would suggest you consider exporting your contact list to a CSV file through contacts.live.com and then delete your contact list. Once the list is fully deleted, import that contact list back to the account. If you have a second Microsoft account,
    try importing the contact list to this account as well and sync this second account with your phone.
