Windows 10: PhoneLink-Can't copy and paste from Android text app, to any PC application like Word -...

I set up the link between my Samsung phone S23 Ultra and my PC with Microsoft Windows 10, and I can view text messages on my PC through PhoneLink.. However, on my Galaxy Note 9 I was able to select text messages and copy them straight from the Android text app linked to my PC to any Word or text document on my PC. I have searched for answers in the community, etc., and cannot find anything that deals with this specific problem, so forgive me if it's up there. I have searched a lot of threads online and in the community posts, , but I am beginning to wonder if this function is just n

Copying text between Windows to paste into a Samsung Phone APP in Phone Link (not the main Phone Link screen)

I can copy and paste a text string in Windows to the PhoneLink, e.g. PhoneLink Search field.

I cannot copy and paste that same text string to an APP (e.g. Samsung calendar APP) - which defeats the purpose of having PhoneLink in the first place. If I tried to do that, it will simply paste from the "local" phone copy and paste buffer.

It seems like Microsoft have not properly implemented Copy and Paste consistently across the PhoneLink interface?

Is this a bug and something that Microsoft will fix in future? The whole point of this is so I can copy a meeting request from my WhatsApp window on PC and paste it into the Calendar APP exposed through PhoneLink on the same PC.

Hi,

I just brought the Samsung omnia WP7 but just notice that we can't copy n paste text from apps to apps even with word doc.

I don't get it how come theses function aren't included.

Does anybody knows if there is an application for that?

Suggest any solution if any.. its weird thing.. can't understand... not working in any browser not working in any text application.. like notepad, wordpad, word , vscode etc... i come something and something else gets pasted... even when i copy paste to same place
