Windows 10: Phonelink for iPhone, wrong version in MS app store?

The Microsoft Answer page at Use Phone Link App with an iOS device - Microsoft Community indicates the version of the phonelink app in the app store is the one that supports iPhone. When I go to the app store from my Win 11 laptop, the only version I can get still says "iPhone coming soon". Specifically, the answer page says "Phone Link app version 1.23012.169.0 or newer from the Microsoft Store". There is no such version in the store that I can find.

WHEN will PhoneLink work with iPhones??!!

I use the app daily with my Android, which is getting a bit long in the tooth. (It's a Galaxy Note 9.)

I would REALLY like to switch to a 14 Pro, but not without PhoneLink.

HELP!

 

iPhone photo import failure. "Something went wrong"

Thank you for replying.



As you have mentioned that the Photos app freezes when you try to import pictures, we would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer.
   
2. Press Windows key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
3. Now, expand Portable Devices, right click on
   iPhone device and select Uninstall device.
   
4. Now, click on Action and select
   Scan for hardware changes. This will install the drivers.
   

Once the drivers are installed, try importing the photos.



If the issue persists, we would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store and see if that helps.

i'm not happy with the icon, but apps on app store MUST have rounded square icons. otherwise rejected by apple
