Windows 10: Photo Albums Deleted After Windows Update

I am sure that I am not the only person this happened to. It's absurd that Microsoft can change the photo app without asking. Not only that but in the process all my photo albums I created were lost. I tried to download Legacy but the albums were not there. I tried going back to the new "Photos" and chose the settings to take the Legacy albums in to the new app, so I should at least have it at the new app, but maybe because I had opened "Legacy" already it just didn't find any of the old albums. In short all albums are gone. Thank you very much Microsoft, well done

2. Which application are you using to display the album?
   
3. Which version of Windows is running on your device?

Photo's app removes my photo's from an album

Hi Dino,

To help resolve you concern, what we suggest is to modify your photos properly. Follow these steps:

• 
  Select the Start
  
  
  
  button, then select Photos.
• 
  Select Albums, select the album you want, then select
  Edit . Or, to start creating a new album, select New album , select the photos you want to include, and then select
  Done .
  
• 
  Do any of the following:
  
  • 
    Type to enter a new title.
    
  • 
    Select Add or remove photos, select the ones you want, then select
    Done .
    
  • 
    To change the photo shown at the top, select Change cover, choose a photo, then select
    Done .

Windows 10 photo app. How to restore deleted album. Folder is still there.

I deleted an album in the new Windows 10 Photo App. The photo folder was not deleted. Now I want this folder back into the albums display. It is a sub-folder under a directory that is already listed in the Sources under setup. I even added the sub-folder
directly to the sources list but it is still missing in the photo display.

It may be that since I previously deleted the album, it won't show it again. I don't know how to override this.
