Windows 10: Photo Gallery Screensaver Not Working

Discus and support Photo Gallery Screensaver Not Working in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; As the title says it all, ever since the upgrade, the current screensaver called the Photo Gallery stopped working, all my other screen savers work....     Photo Gallery Screensaver Not Working


    As the title says it all, ever since the upgrade, the current screensaver called the Photo Gallery stopped working, all my other screen savers work.

    Can I have any solutions on this?

    Apearance and personalisation: Screensaver

    Do you have screensaver set to Photo Gallery, if so there is a known bug!

    Change the screensaver from 'Photo Gallery' to 'Photos' . . .

    Hi Shauna, have you set the screensaver to Photo Gallery?

    If so, this is a known bug in Windows 10, change the screensaver from 'Photo Gallery' to 'Photos' . . .

    No solution but a question. What does "all my other screen savers work" refer to? Have you installed third-party software for that? If so could be one of them has taken over the task to the exclusion of Photo Galler.

    Okay, so all the other screensavers, when I press their properties button, they open up a dialogue to where I can change their settings. The Windows Photo Gallery screensaver does not open up. I know Windows 7 has a hotfix tool that I can use, but its not available for Windows 10.

    Please note, it worked BEFORE the upgrade.

    Unplugged joystick and problem vanished. Usb devices seem to be the problem.

    my work ,but im use photoviewer.dll ,folder = C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft-windows-photoviewer_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.10525.0_none_0ce5674fc1823a2e\photoviewer.dll,

    I don't know what I did but I left it alone for a few days, and it seemed to have fixed itself.
