Windows 10: Photo printing after Windows 10 20H2 update

We have seven computers running Windows 10 Pro in our shop that were all updated to 20H2 recently. After the update, and on all seven computers, when we go into file manager, right-click on a scanned full-page picture file .jpg, select Print and print the picture, the print out comes out with a 4-inch white stripe down the center of the page. It does not matter if we select the option for "resizing to fit the page" or if we print the .jpg file as one picture per page or as wallet-size 8 or sixteen per page. The blank stripe remains.

It is NOT a printer problem as this printer is also a copier and can make a full-page color copy just fine.
It is NOT a printer driver problem because we can load the exact same file into Paint and it prints just fine.
It is NOT a cable or connection problem as all other print functions work fine.
It is NOT a printer drum or toner problem as all other printouts and copies work fine.
It is NOT a memory problem as the problem persists after multiple restarts of the computers and the printer.

It is NOT a filesystem corruption problem as SFC doesn't find any problems when run on any of the computers affected.


This appears to be a specific problem with the Print Pictures application after the 20H2 update.

Has anyone else seen this and, if so, is there a KB fix for it?

Printing a photo on windows 10

You can use Windows Photo App to print the photos in windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key and type Photos.
• Select the photo.
• Right click on the photo.
• Select print option.
• Then you will be able to print photos.

Windows 20H2 - All Printers Offline - Need to Restart Print Spooler Every Time to Print

Hi

I updated to Windows 10 Pro 20H2 through the Windows 10 October 2020 Update Assistant. Every since, whenever I go to print something, I find the printers are offline and won't print. The only way to get something to print is to go to Services and restart
the Print Spooler. Every print job is this way. It was not like this before the update to 20H2. Any suggestions?
