Windows 10: photo rotate PhoneLink - Greyed Out

The phone link app - photo tab.If you use 'open' on a photo, the photo opens in a new screen all good. Not sure what this new screen program is, I assume some part of the phone link app.But the rotate button is greyed out.What is the go.Thanks for any insight.

Rotation lock is greyed out

I have a Yoga 14 which was running fine until recently

I cant find Intel virtual button (for suggested fix)

There is no YMC listed in the services (for suggested fix)

I have put sensor monitor on AUTO

Auto rotate is greyed out on toolbar and in settings.

Windows 10 is latest update as is Lenovos updates

This is a very frustrating problem that shouldn't really be a problem anymore. Windows 10 has been around long enough.

 

Rotate a photo in Fresh Paint

Hi,

Rotating a photo within Fresh paint is currently unavailable. However, you may try these steps:

• Save the paint file.
  
• Open File Explorer.
• Open the location on where you saved the file.
• Right click on the paint file. Click on Rotate right or
  rotate left.

As of yesterday, photos in the app are greyed out

When opening photos in the link app from Win 10, I just get solid grey thumbnails. If I open the photo in PhoneLink it also shows a grey box and no photo. If I select the "open" link to open it into the Windows photo preview app, then I can see the photo. Sometimes thumbnails show up for a minute and then become greyed out.
