Windows 10: Photos App changing color of my photos

Hello, I have an issue with the Photos app changing the color of my photographs after loading them. Even with one instance, removing the greyscale!I have uploaded a video of it in action to OneDrive: 2024-02-06 14-45-17.mkvThis happens with photos legacy as well.

Windows 10 Photos App Has Color Problems

Gentlemen: I appreciate your attempted help but so far I don't think anyone knows what they are talking about when it comes to my problem. There are a lot of suggestions (directions) to change color profiles on my computer. But does anyone REALLY know how to do this in Windows 10 for Photos? joeandmarg0: Settings>Display does not permit any changes to a color profile of any kind on my computer. The only color profile that is listed is for my Samsung monitor and you cannot change the profile. There is no option to do anything with any software profiles. Control Panel>Color Management (accessed via the search for "Color" as CMArbres suggested) also only allows changes to hardware device color profiles. I do not have a problem with my monitor. It displays the color differences from two instantiations of Photos at the same time on the same screen. If someone knows how to change the color profile for a specific instantiation of Photos please provide a hint of how to do it. Throwing out generalizations is just wasting your time.

 

Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

• On the Start menu, select Settings.
  
• Go to System, then go to Default apps.
  
• Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
  Photo viewer.

I would like to find out why when going to a single photo in the photo app it changes color. I have my monitor calibrated but when viewing with the window 10 photo app it will change the color .
