Windows 10: Photos app doesn't load first 1-2 seconds of video when switching or opening video files

As the title suggests, the Photos app is giving me some serious problems.When I open a video from anywhere, it either shows loading icon for 1-2 or shows the first frame of the video for 1-2 seconds until the videos finally skips to the now loaded part, so I can't see the first few seconds of a video no matter what. What should I do? I've already tried reinstalling the app and using the Legacy Photos app, both result in the same thing.

Loss of Video and Photo files in Photo App.

I shot a video project and imported all of the files too my laptop through the Photos App. A couple days later I go open the Photos app and a lot of my photos and mainly video files were no longer in my Photo collection. When I tried importing more footage
through an SD card into the Photo app, it only imported 1-2 files out of the 100 that I was trying to import in total. Recently I defragged my drive and have updated all of my system and apps along with resetting the photos application and still see this issue.
Could have defragmentation done this?

Any suggestions on how I can get these files back?

 

i downloaded an app for creating videos, later, i uninstalled it by accident and now it doesn´t work

i made a video which cannot be opened in other app so i had to download the app again but now it doesn´t open, i have the document of the video. What should i do to open the app and the video?

Importing video files from HD Into Photos App

My name is Lester and hopefully, this helps answer your question.

For us to import all photos and videos from your Hard drive, follow the steps below:

1. Open file explorer and click on "This PC"

2. Look for your Hard drive right click on your hard drive then click Import Pictures and Videos

3. Follow the steps provided and that should import all Photos and videos to the PC and it will be sync to the Photo app, just make sure to select the file path wherein the photos and videos are saved, because Photo app is only a viewer which see all videos
and photos on the PC.
