    Photos App Error Message "Connect a device ...


    If I run the Photos App when I insert an SD card I get an error message:

    Connect a device
    Connect the device you want to import from, and make sure it's turned on and unlocked.

    Importing photos from iPhone to Windows 10

    Having trouble importing photos from iPhone to Windows 10 Photo App. Keep getting (9 times out of 10) the error message "Connect a device, Connect the device you want to import from, and make sure that its turned on and unlocked, Try again, Close" Meantime
    the iPhone is 1) Connected, 2) Turned On & 3) Unlocked.... Frustrating...

    Yes, this,is where i received the error message - From File Explorer. The WP app just stopped coping.

    I already wiped my phone and lost my photo - these errors are bullsxxx

    I've read dozens of complaints that the Photos app won't import from various cameras, I'm using a simple SD card.

    Surely I'm not the only one?
