Photos app gives me error message when I try to open images through a USB-C cable connected...

When I connect the camera to my pc I am not using a hub, straight to the back of my pc, the camera shows up in the file explorer, with the correct name and everything. All of the files appear, and when I try to open the first file, it first shows a bigger version of the thumbnail, and then it shows the entire picture. If I then try to open another file, it gives me an error message. Either "it appears you don't have permission to view this file. Check the permissions and try again", or "Sorry, Photos can't open this file because the format is currently unsupported, or the file is corrupted".

    :)
