    Photos app on Windows 11 not trimming videos saved by GeForce Experience.


    I'm capturing my gameplay with GeForce Experience. I used to trim my videos often with Photos app. Today, when i wanted to do this, the app was not working, and it is still not working. When i click "Save" in the video trim window, it starts to doing the process of trimming the video, but it won't end it. The app does not also show percentage progress. In the place, where i save the trim, appears a file with the name of the original video, but it has got "- trim" added to it. It's size is 0 bytes, and when i try to open it, there is an error that says "The file isn't playable. that might be be

    Photos app - trim a video - error

    Hello,
    I am trying to use the built-in Windows 10 Photos app to trim a video.
    I have the video playing in the Photos app and click "Trim Video" at the top.
    I move the sliders to select the start and end points.
    I click "Save a copy" at top-right.
    The app says "It looks as though you don't have permissions to save changes to this file. Try saving a copy instead."
    Having just clicked "Save a copy", I am confused as to why this error message is appearing.
    I've tried copying the .mp4 to my VIDEOS folder on C: drive with the same result.
    Some research has suggested to run the Photos app as Administrator, but I can't figure out how to do that.
    Any suggestions on how to trim a video would be appreciated!

    Cannot Trim Videos in Photo App for Windows 11

    The option to trim videos is greyed out for me when I want to trim videos. I save replays from nVidia GeForce and when I go and try to trim, it doesn't let me.
    I tried to reset the app and even used the legacy app, but that brings another issue with horrible frame rate and stuttering audio like it's lagging.

    Able to trim but unable to save the edits in Photo App
