Windows 10: Photos crashing after viewing File Info

Hi,

when I was opening an image, I checked the file info for the date it was taken.

A couple of seconds after viewing the info, however, Photos crashed. I tried again and the same error occurred.

Could you please fix this bug?

Does anyone know if there's a way to view "file info" while viewing images on the Windows Photo viewer?

Hello! I am reposting this as I only received one suggestion and it did not work. I hope someone can help me. Something new changed recently in my photos App in Windows 10. I was trying to view the location map where a photo was taken, and when I clicked
on the file info for the photo, it caused the Photos App to crash. It happened on new photos as well as photos where I was previously able to view this information. If I download the photo to a folder on my computer, I am able to view the properties that
way, but in that case I cannot see a map, I only see the coordinates. Plus, sometimes I want to view the location without downloading the photo to another place on my computer. So I started by updating Windows software and I restarted my computer. Then I
tried all these as described here: https://filmora.wondershare.com/windows-10-photos/windows-10-photos-app-crashes.html, (troubleshooter,
restore default libraries, reset, repair photos app package, reinstall windows 10 photos app) but neither of those worked. I restarted my computer after each. before i waste anymore time on this, i wanted to see if this is a known new bug and if microsoft
is aware of the issue and what they suggest. I reported to Microsoft, and I see a number of others have the same issue. 10 days have gone by, but they have not fixed it. I think I need a new photo app which will show where the photo was taken on a map. Any
suggestions? Thanks!
