Windows 10: Photos cut out music when trimming.

I have a video that contain music from Katy Perry in the background, and I'm trying to trim said video. But each time I do, no matter the length, the trimmed copy is always mute. The button is not mute; the original file has audio, and as soon as it gets edited, it gets removed.I tried this out with a different video where it was a game clip and the audio was kept and matched. So I can't tell if there is some copyright system forced in the Photos app, or if this is a bug.

Good day Wynn! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are checking as the Photos app is only producing 30 fps when trimming a video. My apologies on this and this is the current limitation of the app and for this I would suggest to send a feedback via the Feedback Hub (press Windows key + F) and hopefully this will be available in the next/future update of the app. In the meantime, I would also suggest to check and give a try on the a couple of the apps below as an alternative.

Windows Photos Trimming not working

I suggest trying all the troubleshooting steps in the thread link above to see if that fixes this issue.

If none of the steps work for you. You may consider contacting AMD support to check if they have specific guidance or driver updates that can help with compatibility issues. Thank you.
