Windows 10: Photo's JPG size reduction

How do I reduce a photo's JPG size? Example: I have taken a good photo and its JPG size is about 9 MBs. I want to e-mail it at a much lower JPG size for it to be viewed, not printed.

Re-sizing photos


On my old W7 pc I always found it quick and easy to reduce photos etc for emailing; all I had to do was right click on the photo or document, then click on Re-size. There was a choice of reductions. How can I do this in W10?

"Paint" photo size reduction problem

I cannot get Paint to reduce my photo smaller than 50% J tried reducing it and saving it using "save as" then printing again. The photo still comes out at 50%....even though the new saved photo size shows it much smaller.

Thank you for trying to help me. I had already done what you suggested but it does not list how many photos on a page. I had gotten used to Windows 8, Vista, and 7 which not only asked for size & quality of paper but also how many photos you wanted printed
on that page. I have yet to find anything like that on 10. I regret having installed 10 yesterday. I should have waited until after the holidays as I need wallet size photos.
