Windows 10: Photos Legacy not importing *.mp4 just *.vpb

Downloaded Photos Legacy as needed my old trusty Video Editor and hate Clipchamp. Made a video. Saved it default as *.mp4. Opened it on another PC to edit more but Video Editor will only import *.vpb ? What am I doing wrong ?? Can't for the life of me work it out.

I created a new administrator account, installed Photos Legacy, saved the file to the desktop there, and the same issue is still happening (the progress bar never moves forward when I try to import the .vpb file).

I have also tried importing it to Photos Legacy on an entirely different computer, and the same thing happened.

Is there anything else I can do?

I have read your thread and subsequent responses in full.

I notice that you've tried and failed to import this vpb into the "Photos Legacy" of other devices, so I'm guessing that there are two possibilities that could be causing this problem. One is that the Photos Legacy might have an exception; Second, this vpb file may be corrupted.

Now maybe I can give you some advice:

1. Open Photos Legacy, click the three dots in the top right corner, then click Settings. In Sources, add the folder where your vpb file resides, and try importing again.

2. Test whether the fault exists in other vpn files. In short, re-export and generate a new vpb file, and then try importing it. This is to test if the feature is faulty.

If you find that the newly generated vpb file is not abnormal, I suspect that your previous backup file may have been corrupted.

But if you find yourself running into problems with the same usage, maybe it's a bug with your Photos Legacy. You can submit your questions through the Feedback Hub (if convenient, please provide as much detail as possible, including pictures, videos, etc.).
