  1. Photos saving alphabetically by name but not by date in File Explorer in Windows 10.

Until very recently, photos I saved from emails would be in "This PC, Pictures" by date and also in "Libraries, Pictures" alphabetically by the name I gave them. Now the photos save only in "Libraries, Pictures." I tried saving the photos from the Libraries site to the This PC Pictures site, which I was able to do when this would happen occasionally in the past, but that no longer works. When I try, I get a message that the photo is already saved to This PC Pictures which it is not. How can I get my email photos to save by date again?

    :)

  2. When saving a file, folders and files are not listed alphabetically

Although my files and folders are set to list "by name", ie alphabetically and do in file explorer, when I go to save a document the folders in the "Save As" box are not alphabetical and neither are the files in the folders in the Save As box. They are
also not listed by date created or modified; not sure what the listing is following though it's consistent. When I open File Explorer all folders and the files within them are arranged alphabetically but when I go to save a file they are not. This did not
happen with Windows 8.0 but since I went to Windows 10 it has been a problem. Any help in correcting this in the Save As view would be very much appreciated.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Photos saving alphabetically by name but not by date in File Explorer in Windows 10.

Upcoming PC games release dates (US)

I prefer alphabetical myself as some are totally TBA I guess. Don't know, not my list. Could even be sorted into a Genre - Release Date - Alphabetical order. Then again alphabetical is easy enough. Make some suggestions to the OP.
