Windows 10: Photos showing up with "thermal" looking spots. Doesnt happen in slideshow

Hello, I have a new Windows 11 laptop and havent really messed with settings - certainly not display/photo's settings - and every time I try and open/view a photo in the "raw" state from the photos app or just out of files I see what I can only describe as thermal looking spots like a dimension in the photo is not calibrating properly or something is enabled which is causing the graphics to read poor. The odd thing is in Slideshow or Editor the photos display normally. They even display normally if I set them as a desktop background. Considering this does it sound like a defect in the machine?

  Where does the photos folder located?

  Did you try to change the folder location and check?
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.

photo app - How can I do a slideshow in an album? I only see the slideshow option outside of albums.

  Go to any three options “Collection”, “Albums” and “Folders”.
