  1. Photoscanning

I have just bought this new SSD laptop. My Bluetooth Canon printer , MG5200, isn't set up now for scanning photos which I need following a holiday. I have used a USB to try and transfer scanned images but the size isn't right anymore. What can I do about this issue please?

    :)

  2. Banging my head against data transfer to PC from Limia 920 and 820

Please use the forum search function, this is asked and answered many times before.

You have no access to the data backed up using the function on the phone. Video and photoscan be synced to your Skydrive or copied to a PC using the companion app or MTP.

Contacts, calendars and skydrive are on outlook.com where you log in with your Microsoft account. or you can use a number of tools, especially Microsoft essentials to access the information on your PC. All these are built in to Windows 8.

Reading the help available on windowsphone.com might also be a good plan.

  3. Windows 10 support of more physical processors and RAM

I am an individual with limited resources using a photogrammetry application called AGISoft Photoscan. The software is limited by the CPU/GPU/RAM resources on my machine. The quality of the work I create is directly impacted by the RAM capacity of my computer
and the computation time is directly proportional to the number of CPU/GPUs installed. Consequently, I bought an old surplus Dell R900 with 4 quad core Xeon CPUs and up to 256GB of RAM. Unfortunately I found out that Windows 10 only supports 2 physical CPUs
and that Windows Server 2012 Standard edition is required to leverage the hardware I have. The license policy is obviously aimed at business and not an individual user. I don't need networking and multiple users; and I cant afford the cost and complexity
of Windows Server. Any chance Windows 10 can be expanded in the number of processors and amount of RAM it supports? Maybe there is another product that will meet my needs?

    BSOD - I'm very frustrated

    Good evening to you all,

One week ago I "upgraded" my RAM to enable processing with Agisoft PhotoScan

    Crucial Ballistix Sport 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model BLS4KIT8G3D1609DS1S00 - http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Prod...82E16820148666

Ever since I've had numerous BSOD issues and I'm struggling to identify and fix the problem. My old RAM setup (1 x Kingston 8GB module) worked flawlessly and if I didn't need to update the system I would've left it alone. All my inquiries have indicated that my new RAM modules are compatible with my other components, but obviously there are other issues that I simply don't understand.

My wife has made passing remarks that I need to spend more time with her instead of "swearing at that "#$@&... computer". As you can see, I need your help!

Memtest shows zero errors on each module (tested individually and collectively)

I've just done a clean install of Windows so you'll see there's only one dump file. I'm not going to wait for the next BSOD just to provide you with another one!

UPDATE: Make that two now *Mad
