Windows 10: Photoshop 7

I have always had good success with another software, using the newest now Corel Paintshop Pro X8

 

Try saving your edited file to a different location such as your desktop and see if it works. Also you may try saving in a different format to see if it makes any difference.

 

Changing location and different format does not work, still given error

 

Frustrating I'm sure. One thing I have done with a different software that wouldn't run properly from the program files folder on Win8 was to completely uninstall with revo then install to the root of the c drive (or another partition) The software then worked fine.

 

I followed your advice and still does save.

I'm out of ideas. Wonder what's different in our setups that it works on my system and not yours.

absolutely no issues with Photoshop 7 -- did you enter correct serial etc.

Actually a better option might be to use one of the earlier releases of CS2 -- there are "Abandonware keys" all over the Internet -- Adobe actually made these available for a while before saying it had made a mistake - so just google for these. CS2 has a lot more options - especially if you like playing around with Layers and the RAW module allows for many more Cameras to work in "Raw mode".

I think the difference is: my windows 10, your is windows 8 and Photoshop ver.7.
As the matter of fact, on my laptop with windows 7 Photoshop works with out problems.

No, I'm running Photoshop 7 on Windows 10 Pro. Just gave an example of what i did with an older program on 8 to make it work. It is also running now on 10.
