Windows 10: Photoshop Elements

Hi

I have Canon Utilities 3 installed on my windows ten Laptop and also Canon DDP4,Plus I also have Photoshop elements 19 installed.I use Canon Utilities and DDP4 for doing my photos,When I connect my Camera It opened canons utilitys and allows me to download the photos from my camera and then once downloaded it opens up DDP4 so that I can edit my photos if neededwhich is what I want and used to be able to do.,But I not sure what Ive done because now when I connect my camera Photoshop elements Orgainiszer is now opening on top of Utilities and starts to download photos and cannot shut it down to be able to use utilities. any help would be very much appreciated

photoshop elements 8 won't open

After downloading the setup file, Install the setup files through compatibility mode by following the below steps.

I suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode and Run the program with Windows 8.

Photoshop Elements 12

Hi BD

Yes, you can get Photoshop Elements 12 to work on Windows 10, you must first change this setting:

Open the old Control Panel, go to Programs and Features

On the left, click 'Turn Windows Features on or off'

Find Direct Play in the resulting list and turn that on

Then, save that and restart your PC, you should then be able to install and use Photoshop Elements 12

 

DirectX & Adobe Photoshop Elements

My laptop was recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now I cannot access Photoshop Elements Organizer, receiving the error message that it could not be initialized and that I needed to download the most recent version of DirectX (the Elements Editor will
open, but not the Organizer). I have downloaded DirectX but Elements cannot recognize it. Any suggestions?
