Windows Defender has found Trojan: Win32/Maltule.C!cl on my pc just after updating to W10, it has also removed Photoshop 7 (by deleting the ,exe file).

Windows Defender has found Trojan: Win32/Maltule.C!cl on my pc just after updating to W10, it has also removed Photoshop 7 (by deleting the ,exe file) I have tried reinstalling but it vanishes again after a reboot. It has warned me to remove PS 7 urgently.

I am installing this software from it's original disc that I have used on a number of PC's and operating systems with no problem.

I have now blocked WD from scanning the Adobe file and my Photoshop works fine.

I don't see how there can be a virus on my Adobe disc, could this be a false positive?

OpenGL acceleration has been offered in Photoshop since CS4. However it is only used for scaling images real-time and SOME filters. Cuda only applies to Adobe Premiere and After Effects. It does nothing for Photoshop and is useless. You can get by with most IGP's.

So unless you are doing any video editing or 3D animation a Quadro or FirePro card is USELESS for Adobe Photoshop.

ALSO ATI support for OpenGL is hit or miss. Stay with NVIDIA for now.

No he means OpenGL for Photoshop.

 

How can I change my default view of images to my Photoshop jpeg format?
