Windows 10: Picture Password not working: Shows gesture input but nothing happens.

We have a user that has a picture password set for her domain account. When she tries to use it, she can see the gestures being put in, but nothing happens. She doesn't get an error message that the input was incorrect or anything. It just let's her continuously put in the gestures. This is on a domain joined Dell Precision workstation not a touchscreen laptop or anything, so touch wouldn't be the issue.There are no GPOs causing the issue; we've already checked. For instance, no setting has been applied to the Interactive Logon: Do Not Display Last User Name group policy, etc. No registry ch

Nothing happens after inputting password


I have upgraded my HP4300 desktop pc the other day and all appears to have gone fine with the exception of one website that I cannot access either with Edge or Chrome. It is the Totesport.com site. I input my user name and then put in my password, hit enter and nothing happens. I can access from my iPad and Windows RT laptop so I suspect that it something to do with the browsers. All other sites that I access work fine. Can anybody suggest what might be happening?

In order for you to create a picture password for both accounts, you need to make sure that both your admin and guest accounts are password protected as the picture password will be used instead of your password.

Since you want to enable picture password on both accounts, login with your admin account first, and then follow these steps to create a picture password:

• Open Settings, then go to Accounts.
• On the left pane, click Sign-in options.
• Scroll down to the Picture password, then click Add.
• The welcome page for the picture password will appear. Type in your user account password, then click
  OK.
• Click Choose a picture. Select a picture, then click
  Use this picture.
• Draw the three gestures on the picture, confirm it, and hit Finish.

Once done, logout of your admin account, then login to your guest account. Follow the same steps provided above to create a picture password for your guest account.

To log in with the picture password, click Sign-in options when you are asked for your password. Select the picture symbol and enter the gestures you have set. You should now be logged in to your admin or guest account using the picture
password.

Picture Password needs reboot to work

To set up a picture password, you select a photo of your own choice, and record three gestures over it. Each gesture can be a line, a circle, or a dot, executed in an exact order. You repeat the gestures to log into Windows.
