Windows 10: "Pictures" folder on external HDD displays content with huge 20-30 sec delay.

Hi, guys!Not so recently I moved my Pictures folder to an external USB hard drive from it's default location.Since then new content is displayed in this folder with huge 20-30 secs delay. I mean pic file previews. Small pictures displaying file contents. I would have blamed HDD, but older content the one that was in the folder b4 I moved it is being displayed momentarySeems that something is wrong with caching.Can someone provide an advice where to start digging from?

Long:

"Pictures" folder on external HDD displays content with huge delay. (Was moved from default location with embedded button (Properties -> Location -> Move...). Each time I open the folder it takes 20-30 seconds to display the latest files. Address bar colorfills about 20-30 seconds which reveals it's doing something. Contains about 350 pics and 4 folders (with pic also, about 2500 pics)

How to make it open quick as one would expect? (I would assume that content is just not being cached. (Should it?))

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Click your Start button, then just type index.

From the resulting list, open Indexing Options

On the Indexing utility, click Advanced, and check if that Pictures folder on the D drive has been added to the Windows search index, if it is not, add it from there, then when the index updates, check if that solves the problem

Seems that "Pictures" folder was already among indexed.

BUT! Pushed a button "Delete and reindex" and seems that folders worx fine now.

Will come back if that changes.
