  2. Itunes?

You are so full of ****!

Microsoft you REALLY need to get your pieces in this puzzle together.

iTunes is NOT compatible with Windows 10, PLEASE advise this directly with folks instead of giving us advice that is frankly... WASTING our time.

Forcing users to take updates they don't want sounds like a good idea to me! *Mad

I would like to bypass some of them but I just have to think about this.. I like Win10 too much to let me bother me at this point I guess.

With M$ track record on updates I think they will have a hard time getting one billion users Computers to work.

  7. I'm surprised that doesn't phase you though Jeff. I know I often comment on how accepting you are of Windows 10 (sometimes overly so in my mind - I don't mean that to be nasty, just an observation my friend *Smile ). But doesn't that loss of choice and control not concern you at least a bit?

    Cheers!

I am not sure on this

Taking this to the extreme, if MS gets the majority of people using win 10, then in 2 years they decide they want a start screen back instead of a menu, everyone would have it without any choice

Since we don't know what MS is going to offer as updates why get worked up about it right now?? When we/I find out what MS is going to provide as updates then I, at least, can judge if the updates are good or bad and if I would want to bypass any of them..

Overall I'm a very laid back person and I don't worry about things that are basically unknown right now.. like what updates MS will provide in the future.

But that doesn't mean that it will happen and that anyone has to use the start screen if it even did come back. The future is unknown until it gets here.. why speculate or worry about it yet?? *Wink

  12. Very true, that was just an extreme example of the things that could happen

Currently, people can use the OS that suits them best, XP, 7, 8
When on 10 it looks like no choice in the matter, everyone gets all changes

If everyone on Win 7 had automatically been upgraded to 8, imagine the outcome, the same with 10 going forward, everyone has to have what MS wants

Still.. I don't think that it's a big deal to me right now.. I'll stick to my wait and see approach. *Smile

  15. I suppose what I like to do is plan well ahead for things. I do that with lots of things (system upgrades, buying a new car, buying an audio component), only because once I've planned things to a T, then I just roll out the plan.

Plus right now, Windows 10 IS a lot of speculation, but that's what makes it interesting.
