Windows 10: Pin code Problem

Dear Microsoft Support, I am writing to ask for assistance with an issue I've been experiencing with my laptop. Two days ago, the face detection feature was triggered and my system became locked, with BitLocker activation.I know the correct PIN code, but it isn't working. I have tried several times to enter the PIN, but I'm still unable to access my laptop. This is causing significant inconvenience, as I rely on my laptop for both personal and professional tasks. Forgotten PIN and expired password

Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

PIN

Hi Matthew,

There's a possibility that the PIN code you're asked to enter is the PIN code of your Windows 10 user account. If you signed in to Windows 10 using your Microsoft account, the Xbox app will take the credentials you've used to sign in. Let's remove the PIN
code. Here are the steps:

1. Click Start and select Settings.
2. Select Accounts.
3. Select Sign-in options, under PIN, click
   Remove.
4. Confirm the changes by entering your profile password.

If the same instance occurs after removing the PIN code and changing your user account's sign-in options, we suggest that you sign in to
Xbox.com. This is to verify if there's an issue with your Xbox account.
