Windows 10: PIN complexity bugged in Windows 11 domain

Hello, I just installed Windows 11 and joined the domain. I opened group policy where you can enable PIN sign in and set the complexity. I enabled it and set PIN complexity to 4. Enabling worked, however PIN complexity seems glitched and even though I set the minimum length to 4, it still asks me to have my PIN at least 6 character length.Do you know how to fix this?

Windows 11 Pin Complexity

I disconnected all work related accounts. I assumed my local domain policies I have set (pin complexity/etc.) would take affect. They did populate in my local gp policies for the computer so I know my local domain is at least propagating those gp settings. I am very confused as to where windows is now getting my windows hello login settings. It does not make sense or there needs to be a way to set priority. Ill come to terms with living with a 6 digit pin. Some of my employees may not like it as much. Granted now I am concerned any of my local domain policies would be superseded my microsoft being i do not know where the policy setting is coming from.

Windows 11 Pin Complexity

It appears regardless what settings made either in the registry or GPO, windows 11 will not use them. I attempted to change the pin complexity to 4 digits (min, max, etc) but the system seems to look elsewhere for these settings. I removed all Microsoft accounts as well but i cannot seem to change this. Is there a setting being used due to O365 or live accounts or Azure?

Question regarding Windows PIN & Domain

Hi, I have few questions for Microsoft employees regarding PINs in Windows.

• Why Windows PIN option is disabled in domain by default?
  
• Is it a good idea to enable PIN in domain? As I understand it's more secure than password as it's directly tied to hardware unlike passwords.
  
• Can I enable PIN for all users in domain from the server? Or do I need to do it manually for each user via group policy editor?
