Windows 10: Pin corrupted after Motherboard change and cannot get to internet . Any fix.

Hi there, Just upgraded motherboard which I have done 3 times in the past without any issue. Install motherboard , Logged into Windows and then installed drivers and PIN was never an issue.This time did the install and booted windows to get the next screen.Sorry for the quality of the picture I could not find a way to load it such that you could zoom in. The only thing that I can do is click on "Set up my PIN" and if you look down bottom right we have the World icon so no internet.If I had clicked it before taking the picture it would have shown just an icon for Ethernet 3 and nothing els

Changed motherboard, can't change PIN at login due to no internet

I just swapped motherboard, the old one was broken.
Now I can't log in because I need to change PIN at login for some reason and there is no internet connection.
How can I get around this?

 

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

Are you able to login to computer using Pin when you connect computer to Internet?

I suggest you to change the PIN on your computer and check if that helps.

Follow these steps to setup a PIN

• Press the Windows+S key combination to display the Search box.
• Type the word pin into the Search box, then click
  Set up PIN sign-in.
• Find the “PIN” section and click the Add button.
• Type in the password for your User Account, then click the
  Ok button.
• Select and enter a 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
• Exit the PIN setup utility.
• From now on you’ll be able to log in to your Windows account by entering your 4 digit PIN instead of your password.

If you want to change the PIN please follow these steps.

• You can change your PIN at any time by following the steps below:
• Press the Windows+S key combination to display the Search box.
• Type the word pin into the Search box, then click Set up PIN sign-in.
• Find the “PIN” section and click the Change button.
• Enter your Windows password, then click the Ok button.
• Select and enter a new 4 digit numeric pin, then enter it again for confirmation.
• Click the Finish button.
• Exit the PIN setup utility.
