Windows 11 on a desktop computer:OS Build10.0.26100.2894System type90HT005AUSRAM16 GBSerial numberR305W87CEntering the pin, I got the error message: "Your credentials could not be verified." Interestingly, if I tried a pin I us on a different computer, the error message indicated that the pin was wrongWhen I try to reset the pin I get nowhere: "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available status:0xc000006d, substatus: 0xc0070005. Click to set up your pin again" I've repeated many times with restarts, shutdowns, et... but no success. I've tried restarting using safe mode, restored

Verify Credentials with No Password


So, I have forgotten a password but it's saved in Windows 10. I can go to web credentials and see it there, but when I hit the 'show' button, it asks me to verify my credentials to see the password. I do not have a password on my local account on Windows 10, so I'm not sure what it wants me to enter to verify my credentials.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.
