Windows 10: pin disabled for 2 hours. waited 2 hours and no change

Discus and support pin disabled for 2 hours. waited 2 hours and no change in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; pc prompts me saying you cannot sign in with pin for 2 hours, and i must wait with power on. i open the laptop and sit for 2 hours. it sleeps...     pin disabled for 2 hours. waited 2 hours and no change


    pc prompts me saying you cannot sign in with pin for 2 hours, and i must wait with power on. i open the laptop and sit for 2 hours. it sleeps occasionally. do i need to keep it from sleeping to count as powered on???? note: i have tried setting up an admin account from the command prompt. this did not work and i could not switch the account i was trying to sign into.i have reverted my pc state to one from this morning as well. i have no way to back up my files due to being locked out so i am not sure what to do at this point.

    Pin entered incorrect... Wait 2 hours

    We keep getting the error message that the pin was entered incorrectly too many times, but I KNOW the pin I am entering is correct...

    When I try to change my pin it says that it will send a code to my email... And no code ever comes. We have waited the 2 hours and still get the same error.

    I am unsure what the 2-hour thing means. Are you talking about time-out when you enter the wrong PIN many times?
