Windows 10: pin error 0xd000a002 windows not loading to go to settings

My laptop shows error code 0xd000a002

recently bought a laptop and finished all the settings.

Once it showed 'Not able to use PIN due to a problem (Code: 0xd000a002)'

 

When trying to sign in to my PC with my pin, I get error 0xd000a002.

When trying to sign in to my PC with my pin, I get error 0xd000a002. I click on set up my pin. I put in my password. The computer asks me to verify my identity by sending a code to email. The trouble is, the email associated with the computer is an sbcglobal.net address that I am unable to access. There are no other choices.

 

Error code 0xd000a002 and ‘set up my PIN’ just loops back to the same screen?

Please help if you can!

Windows 11 updated and now it won’t accept my pin to log into my account. I get the error code 0xd000a002 and then when I click on ‘set up my PIN’ it whirs for a while then goes back the original log in with your PIN screen.

I therefore can’t log in with my Microsoft account credentials or change any of the settings as have been recommended recently.

Laptop is only 3 months old but does anybody have any ideas of how I can fix this short of throwing the whole thing in the bin and buying a MacBook?!
