Windows 10: PIN is not available. Can't remember Password. Admin Account inaccessible

I've had my laptop since 2018 and have not had problem until December 2022.I was trying to use Bluetooth to receive a file from a tablet and it didn't work and when frustrated I closed the laptop.Later, when I tried to sign in I got a response that "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again."The only sign in option available is by Password and I don't remember it and I've never used it.The problem I have is that the laptop was setup at the very beginning with my ex's email and it was never changed, and it would be inappropriate for me to re-establish conta

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.

Email clients not remembering passwords

Hi all

A friends computer will not remember his gmail password. He used to use outlook, and seeing that I use thunderbird and it would be easier to troubleshoot I installed that for him. Now that was working for a few weeks, and now the same problem is occuring.

We are 100% sure the password is correct, as we can access the email account through webmail, but the local clients will not remember the correct password. Of course the 'Remember password' button is checked, but still no good.

It returns with incorrect password.

Any suggestions?
