Windows 10: PIN is the only authentication option

Hello, I'm having a heck of a time logging in to a windows 10 pc. When we boot, it goes to a PIN screen saying the PIN has been input incorrectly too many times and to type in A1B2C3. It does not have any other options on the screen besides the network/utilman/power icons at the bottom right corner.. We type in the passphrase and it resets the PIN window to allow for the PIN. We have the password, but not the PIN. There are no other options on this screen as well. No icons to switch authentication methods like others PC nor is there a Forgot PIN option. We've tried safe mode, but it's there

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
