Windows 10: PIN is the only authentication option

Discus and support PIN is the only authentication option in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hello, I'm having a heck of a time logging in to a windows 10 pc.     Hello, I'm having a heck of a time logging in to a windows 10 pc. When we boot, it goes to a PIN screen saying the PIN has been input incorrectly too many times and to type in A1B2C3. It does not have any other options on the screen besides the network/utilman/power icons at the bottom right corner.. We type in the passphrase and it resets the PIN window to allow for the PIN. We have the password, but not the PIN. There are no other options on this screen as well. No icons to switch authentication methods like others PC nor is there a Forgot PIN option. We've tried safe mode, but it's there
