pin isn't working and it wants to send code to email. Never receive a code. Cannot log in. Cannot reset to factory. Totally locked out

I forgot my pin on my computer and I tried sending a code to my email but the code won’t send

Hi up there : Just to make this understandable. Did the

code sent it to your "Email" Was sent it by yourself

or was the Microsoft account, who sent it..

Not trying to find mistakes here, just to make it easy

Windows pin not working, asks to verify code through email. Not receiving any codes.

So I came to my laptop this evening to sign in and use it and typically I use the fingerprint sensor but today it required a windows pin. Normally this isn’t a problem but for whatever reason every combination of pin I feel like I put in is not working. So I choose the forgot my pin option. It prompts to sign in Microsoft and send a verification code. I verify the email and it says it’ll send a code but I never receive one. I’ve been stuck here for the past couple hours trying to log in with no avail, it gives me a phone option but it is not a current number I use anymore. I don’t have any other users on the device this is the only way I can get onto the laptop so it is essentially useless now not being able to get in.

1. May I know when was the last time you are able to log in your account?
   Prior to having my PC repaired. The motherboard was replaced which explains the message about there be a change in the security.
   
2. Did you receive any error message?
   
   No error message. It just prompts me to enter the code sent to my email address, but I never receive it. The email address works fine and I receive other email from Microsoft unrelated to this code. It should also give me the option to use my phone that is connected to this account but it doesn't.
   
3. How did you log in your account is it through outlook webmail or outlook app?
   
   I can login to my account just fine, but when I try to make any security changes, it prompts me to enter a verification code that I NEVER receive. I can't do anything significant with my account besides login if I don't get the code.
