Windows 10: PIN not available after restarting in safe mode - how to proceed?

So I built a new system and was pretty much finished with set-up using Windows 11 I think Home version. I only had a PIN set up never making that mistake again, why even allow it when it seems to be risky?. However one process from AMD to clean up some of their drivers wanted to restart in safe mode. So I did that.Then on restart I am greeted by Windows telling me the PIN is not available apparently a known issue with PIN?: "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again". Paraphrasing as the statement is half english, half german. I tried the option to s

Password not accepted in Safe mode

Have you tried all the above steps suggested by Sangeeta Sarkar on September 13, 2015.

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you trying to login the Microsoft account or the Local account in safe mode?
• Did you try with only safe mode or safe mode with networking?
• What is the critical error you are getting?

If you are using Windows 10. To go to safe mode you have to follow the below steps.

If you are able to go to login screen in normal mode try the below steps to go to safe mode with networking.

• 
  At the login screen click on the power symbol.
  
• 
  Hold SHIFT + Click Restart.
  
• 
  After restarting your system, select the Troubleshoot option.
  
• 
  Select advanced options under
  Troubleshoot screen.
  
• 
  Click on Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Click Restart and follow the onscreen steps to go to
  Safe Mode with networking and check if you are able to login.

Can’t restart in safe mode

Good day all! I have an issue that prevents Windows 11 (22H2 22621.1194) from fully loading in normal mode. When I follow the steps for Safe Mode:

1. At the login screen, hold down the shift key and press the Power Button then Restart to make it enter Recovery Environment.
   
2. Now please select Troubleshoot > Select Advanced options > Select Startup Settings then Click Restart.
   
3. However, I do not get the startup options menu - the computer just starts back up like in normal mode.
   

Any suggestions?
