Windows 10: PIN not available, password not working

My home computer, Lenovo ThinkPad Microsoft windows 10 - it will not allow me access. At its home page states: Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again. When I attempt to click on Set up my PIN - I'm unable/nothing occursWhen I attempt click on sign in options - two boxes appear, the 1st is a key- I enter my password both what thought was correct, did not work- I reset password via a different computer and this also does not work; 2nd key is for PIN? - nothing occursPlease help? Windows support is limited. It's been days - I use this laptop for my sc

Forgotten PIN and expired password

Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

Microsoft Account PIN and password

We appreciate the screenshot that you provided. to start troubleshooting the issue with you logins, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how login pin goes back to password:

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.
