Windows 10: PIN not working to login to my account on Windows 11 on sign in screen when you boot up pc.

so yesterday i had a problem with my PC i went to go boot it up but then it started turning off and on a few times after i got it to turn on my PIN was not working 'it said it had an error with it and i tried going on another account on my PC and tried Reseting it but you had to use a PIN to reset my PC and i used the correct PIN i set for the account and it has an error with it so microsoft please fix this and help me. it says: Somthing went wrong and your PIN isn't avavilible code Ox8009011 Restart your device to see if that fixes the problem. also i have done all of those things so pleas

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Login screen presents both local and MS account sign in


I set up a new tablet with windows 10 and began with a Local account so I could choose my user name. Then I signed in with my MS account to sync settings.

When I start the tablet the login screen asks for my pin. I want to be able to automatically login without entering a pin or password. To do that I use netplwiz and uncheck the option to require a password for login. So far so good.

But when the tablet restarts I am presented with a login screen that now shows two accounts, my MS account and what appears to be a local account but with the same name. If I then reverse the process and enable the "require a password" option in netplwiz there is only one account shown on the login screen but then I have to use a pin or password.

How do I remove that second local account on the login screen and then login automatically? There is only one account listed in the user account settings page.

 

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

Try the steps here:

• Navigate to PC Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Click on I forgot my PIN link.
• Next, click on the Continue button in the Are you sure you forgot your PIN? screen.
• You can now add a new PIN and click OK.
