Windows 10: Pin number

Discus and support Pin number in User Accounts and Family Safety to solve the problem; Hi folks, Please, can anyone tell me if it is possible to do away with the need to enter a pin number each time I go to my pc.     There is a possibility that the PIN file is corrupted or certain changes like recent upgrade/updates have affected the PIN's functionality. In order for us to provide the appropriate solution to your concern, we would like to ask for more details. Please
    answer the following:

    • What build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
    • Have you made any recent changes to the sign-in options or installed updates prior to the issue?
    • Are you getting an error message after attempting to create a new PIN number?

    Pin Number

    Do not try to change.

    First delete the PIN in Settings, Accounts. Reboot the computer, login, go Settings, Accounts and add a PIN.

    Reboot and see if it works.

    Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN , Create a PIN to use in place of passwords. Mine is a 4 digit number?

    Pin number

    I'm afraid there is. When I did the clean install I was given the option to use a password or a pin number and so for ease I chose the pin number option. I would have been happier if I was also given the option to have neither but that didn't happen.

    No, there is no such thing as a PIN number anywhere, nothing to do with Windows.

    What nigelmercier is trying to say is that PIN number is redundant. Personal Identification Number number.
