    Pin on computer is not available after Microsoft update.


    Pin on computer is not available after Microsoft update. Resetting the PIN is not working as the phone numer used for authentication is not working. I have added a new telephone number, but it will take 30 days before this one is active. I can not wait as this is my school computer. The not working PIN was not my fault, it happened after the Microsoft update. What should I do next? Kind Regards Niels

    Pin Login not available and can't change or remove my pin

    Hi Saschavan,

    To help you disable your PIN login, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Go to this location: Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options
    • Check the PIN options and click the I forget my PIN available to click?
    • Enter your password, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
    • Click Cancel and your PIN should be disable upon reboot.

    Pin on computer is not available after Microsoft update.

    Your PIN is not available. 0x80280013

    Whenever I leave my computer for a while and it goes to sleep and I try to enter my pin this error appears - "Your PIN is not available. 0x80280013". This problem goes away after restarting the computer. How do I fix this?

    Things I have tried:

    • Resetting the pin via Microsoft account email
    • Changing the PIN
    • Deleting the Ngc folder
    Nothing seems to be working.

    I am running 64-bit windows 10
