Windows 10: PIN option not showing and forgot password

So I just had updates run last night, and now today I can no longer log in. I have been using a PIN to log in for years now, but that option isn't even displaying. Not only that, my password which I know is correct isn't working, the security questions aren't working, and when I tried to access the Admin profile to fix it that way, I can't even look at other accounts besides my regular one I even ran CMD, disabled the Admin profile, and re-enabled it. What can I do?

Forgot the pin number, now cannot switch to other sign-in options

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps

1. Click Start and click on Settings.

2. Click Accounts.

3. Click Sign-In Options.

4. Click I forgot my PIN.

5. A dialog box will open, enter in your account password (not your PIN). If you use

a Microsoft Account to create your account then that is the password you will

need to use. Otherwise this will be the password you used to create your local

account.

6. After your password is accepted you will be prompted to

create a new PIN, instead click Cancel.

7. The PIN will now be removed from the account and the PIN section within the Accounts Settings will show Add

instead of Change.

Windows 11 forgot PIN, no password option

Good afternoon.

This morning, I attempted to login to my laptop, but realized I had forgotten my PIN (I usually use the fingerprint scanner). I tried several times, but none of the PINs were correct. Because I’ve tried too many times, there is no “forgot PIN” option anymore. When I click the sign in options, there is also no option to enter a password. Thus, I am stuck with no way into my computer. Is there a way to remedy this?

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.
