Windows 10: PIN set up CRASHES Windows 10

Hi!Setting up new laptop. Windows 10 starts and I login. Next pops a screen to set up a PIN. Click NEXT and a spinning orb appears and NEVER stops spinning. Must force shutdown with power button. Do not need suggestions involving pushing this or x-ing that, etc. There is NOTHING to push, press, ying, yang or anything else.How do I get Windows 10 to complete STARTUP?

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Have PIN for Windows 10 but need Windows password

To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type the word pin in the search box and select
  Set up PIN sign-in.

  Under the PIN section, click the
  Add button.

  Enter the password for your user account, then click the
  OK button.

  Follow the instructions on the screen.
